Welcome to the ULS blog. This is our inaugural post so thought we’d take this opportunity to tell you all a little about us and what we stand for here at Ultimate Lifting Solutions.

Over the coming months we’ll share with you key industry insights and tips to help your business stay safe and legal with all things Lifting Gear and Materials Handling – if there’s anything you’d like to hear from us then please get in touch and we’ll do our best to cover your requests first.

Our aim here at Ultimate Lifting Solutions is to be your right-hand man for all your Lifting and Materials Handling Equipment needs. Putting you and your teams’ safety firmly at the forefront of everything we do. We’ve spent the last 20 years in the trade and have worked with all types of industries and tackled a vast array of load materials, shapes and capacities not to mention all the various site safety requirement you could imagine, we have seen it all.

Jon and Symon who lead Ultimate Lifting Solutions both started on the tools and on shop floors. An Engineer by trade Jon is the ultimate Crane expert and knows every bolt, hoist and SWL in expert detail, he leads a team of engineers that are both electrically and mechanically qualified which guarantees all customers receive a quality service and very competitive prices. Jon is passionate about making Inspection and Maintenance a hassle-free, completely safe and simple process.

Symon is a self-confessed Lifting / Materials Handling geek, with over 20 years’ experience across the industry and having worked with most of the top supply brands during his time has a huge knowledge of products and more importantly he knows how they work and can advise accordingly. Symon not only knows the whole industry inside out but actually cares deeply about getting the right solution for the job. Unlike other suppliers, Symon, and the whole of the ULS team have an incredible eye for detail, working with you to identify the right equipment, at the right price to meet your delivery timescale. His motto has always been “safety before sale” and it’s that long term love and attention that really sets him apart.

Safety – If it is a new piece of equipment supplied by us – it will be supplied with certification and ready to use as soon as you receive your order - If we are carrying out an inspection or completing a service on loose gear or a crane, again the correct paperwork and certification will be given so you can carry on working safely and within the law.

Price – We have worked very closely with suppliers and negotiated very competitive prices and these savings are passed onto our customers.

Availability – We quote as accurate as possible delivery dates and will also go over and above not only to meet delivery requirements but to improve on delivery.
