Green Pin Compact Skip Hook GKC

Green Pin Compact Skip Hook GKC are designed for a snug fit onto standard Skip Lugs, giving a safe and secure connection between the skip chain and the skip, which will not slip or fall off. They easily connect to your existing Chains (or contact us if you require the skip chains as well).

The Green Pin Self-Locking Hook CL is a grade 8 clevis self-locking hook. The self-locking hook locks automatically as soon as it is brought under tension. To release the load the user must manually unlock the hook, which prevents unintended release. This hook brings full safety for lifting as the latch cannot be removed. The GK hook is a compact, lightweight hook. In comparison to an XL hook, it has the same working load limit, with a smaller size. The clevis design enables a direct connection to the grade 8 chain. The Green Pin Self-Locking Hook CL is available in a range to suit 7/8 mm up to 22 mm grade 8 chain.

All safety critical parts of the skip lifting mechanism, including the lifting hook and arms, hydraulic cylinders and associated pipework and fittings, should be thoroughly examined by a competent person, such as an engineer surveyor, at least once every 12 months.
