The compact design of the Green Pin Clevis Self Locking Skip Hook means these hooks do not slide off the skip lug, giving a secure and safe connection between the skip chains and the skip - We offer three sizes to suit all skip chain sizes, 7mm skip chains, 10mm skips chains, and 13mm skip chains.

This style of hook from Green Pin is extensively used by all major skip vehicle manufacturers. due to its compact design and the quality of the manufacturer.

The Hook itself is a self Locking style hook meaning once closed the hook automatically locks tight around the skip lug and cannot open until the release button on the side of the hook is depressed.

These self-locking skip hooks are a Clevis style and supplied complete with necessary pins to easily fit your existing Chain slings - If unsure Contact our sales team for exitance.

The Green Pin Self-Locking Hook CL is a grade 8 clevis self-locking hook. The self-locking hook locks automatically as soon as it is brought under tension. To release the load the user must manually unlock the hook, which prevents unintended release. This hook brings full safety for lifting as the latch cannot be removed. The GK hook is a compact, lightweight hook. In comparison to an XL hook, it has the same working load limit, with a smaller size. The clevis design enables a direct connection to the grade 8 chain. The Green Pin Self-Locking Hook CL is available in a range to suit 7/8 mm up to 22 mm grade 8 chain.

All safety critical parts of the skip lifting mechanism, including the lifting hook and arms, hydraulic cylinders and associated pipework and fittings, should be thoroughly examined by a competent person, such as an engineer surveyor, at least once every 12 months.
