Chain slings are one of the most commonly bought lifting accessories because they are very robust and versatile for lifting heavy loads and for most types of Lifting applications either on a construction site or around a factory. Nowadays customers can choose between grade 8 chain slings or grade 10 chain slings.


What is the difference between grade 8 and grade 10 chain slings - The main difference between different grades of chain slings is the lifting capacity strength, as a rule, grade 10 chain slings offer a 25% higher working load limit than the like-for-like size in grade 8. Therefore by choosing a grade 10 chain sling, you can choose a lower chain diameter sling compared to grade 8 and still have the same lifting capacity
