Replacement Trigger Kit to suit Green Pin Compact Skip Hook GKC

Step By Step Guide to replace trigger kit on Green Pin GKC compact skip hooks Only

Remove the coiled pin with a well-fitting pin driver. Please make sure that there is space for the coiled pin to exit the body of the hook.

Remove the safety trigger and spring.

Follow the steps hereunder to assemble a new latch locking system.

First assemble the spring and temporary bush into the safety trigger.

Place the new coiled pin in hook body for the first few milimeters.

Place the safety trigger sub assembly in place. Make sure you mount the safety trigger correctly. 

Drive the coiled pin through the safety trigger and spring.

Please make sure there is space for the temporary bush to exit the body of the hook.

Beware for misalignment when mounting the coiled pin through the safety trigger as this can damage the safety trigger.

Check the correct position (safety trigger, coiled pin, spring) and the functioning of the locking system.
