The Wood's Powr-Grip N4950 is an industry-leading Woods vacuum lifter featuring a hand-actuated pump system. Unlike standard suction cups, this unit creates a high-strength vacuum under the gripping pad section, ensuring a secure hold on non-porous surfaces.

The integrated pump plunger features a red band to indicate the suction level at all times. If the vacuum drops below 100%, you can simply pump the plunger to restore full pressure without having to remove the Woods suction cup from the surface. Releasing the load is just as easy - simply depress the trigger located on the opposite end of the handle.

Rubber Pad Replacement: As rubber ages, its lifting capacity reduces. We recommend replacing the rubber pad at least every 2 years, or immediately if any surface damage is detected.

Performance Issues: If your Woods power grips do not hold a vacuum normally, first follow the cleaning instructions below. If performance does not improve, the unit may require a professional service or seal replacement.

Cleaning Instructions

1. Remove the air filter from the cup face.

2. Apply soapy water or a mild cleanser using a clean sponge or lint-free cloth. 
   CAUTION: To prevent liquid from entering the pump mechanism, hold the cup face down or cover the suction hole during cleaning.

3. Wipe away all residue thoroughly from the rubber face.

4. Dry and Reinstall: Allow the cup to air dry completely before reinstalling the air filter.

Regular Inspection Checklist

- Before every lift, examine your Wood's Powr-Grip suction cup for the following faults:

- Cuts or nicks on the sealing edges of the rubber pad.

- Cracks or dents in the metal handle or pump plunger.

- Red line appearance: If the red safety line reappears quickly after attachment, there is a vacuum leak.

- Sluggishness or a change in the feel of the pump action.

- Stiffness or a "glazed" shiny appearance on the rubber pad.

- A missing air filter.

Safe Storage
