ARC FLEX EX Transmitter is the replacement Arc Flex EX Gen 1 Radio Remote Control Transmitter / Handset only. Brand new controller to replace damaged or broken FLEX Gen One model only. FLEX EX4, Flex EX8, and EX12 are available from stock. We at ULS Lifting offer a repair service for the Flex EX Gen One Transmitters and Receivers, if the transmitter is regrettably beyond economical repair we can offer a replacement Arc Gen 1 transmitter.

Some Flex EX transmitters were supplied by Magnetek, and not direct from ARC, if so, please contact us first, as the frequency channel will need to be altered. NOT a Problem ULS Lifting can perform this task.

All Replacement Arc Flex EX Gen 1 Handsets are sold without batteries. if new rechargeable batteries are required, please order BAT-01 Battery Pack.

What is required to program a new ARC FLEX Gen 1 EX handset? Once you have ordered your replacement Flex replacement handset, it will require pre-programing before dispatch. This means we require the serial number and channel number from the original handset to be replaced, the serial number and channel code can be found on the rear of the Flex Transmitter, if the serial number has worn away, by removing the rear cover the serial number can be found printed on the I-CHIP. Once Ultimate Lifting Solutions have received the serial number and channel number of the broken or old ARC Flex Crane Remote we can now program the new handset - delivery will be just 2 to 3 days max.

Radio Remote Control Systems for Overhead Lifting Equipment and Machinery. Most modern-day busy factories have an overhead crane or Electric Chain Hoist running along a beam, these cranes and hoists are fitted as standard with wired-in pendant controls. These wired pendant controls restrict the operator to always being in close vicinity to the "DANGER AREA" IE near the load being transported at height. Removing the pendant and replacing it with a Wireless Pendant and Radio Control System, not only gives the operator freedom in movement, but it also means he can control the overhead crane or the electric chain hoist from a safe distance.

Arc Flex EX GEN I Replacement Handsets - available in three models 4, 8, or 12 push button  (4EX, 8EX, or 12EX)

The EX Gen 1 transmitter is ergonomically designed, rugged yet compact, and lightweight. Moisture, oil, and dust are no threat to the IP66 enclosure.

Ultra-Reliable Pushbuttons - The in-house designed pushbuttons have gold-plated contacts and are rated for more than two million press cycles. The defined snap-action steps provide positive tactile feedback even wearing gloves.

Ultra Durable & Rugged Enclosures - The transmitter and receiver enclosures are made from industrial-strength nylon and fiberglass composite material, not ABS plastic. All housings meet the IP66/NEMA4 requirements and are highly resistant to dirt, liquid, acid, alkali, grease, and oil penetration. The receiver enclosures and output cables are UL94-V0 rated.

Abundant Programmable Functions - All functions and settings are easily set via pushbuttons, dipswitches, jumpers, and an in-house designed programmer unit. Customized functions can also be added upon request.

Unique I-CHIP Design - The I-CHIP functions similarly to a SIM card. Information and settings can be transferred between transmitters without the hassle of resetting the spares.

Pitch & Catch Operation - This standard-equipped function allows two operators to control from opposite ends of a crane or equipment.

Channel Programming via Pushbuttons - Frequency channels can be reprogrammed directly via transmitter pushbuttons.

Tandem Operation - This function allows one operator to control two cranes at the same time via a 3-position A/B/A+B rotary select switch. A special tandem output is provided for the external tandem box connection.

Random Access Operation - This function allows multiple operators randomly control multiple cranes on a first come - first served basis.

Multiple Receivers Operation - This function allows one operator to control up to ten receivers or equipment at the same time.

Rechargeable Options - The transmitter accepts both regular “AA” alkaline batteries and an in-house designed 1000mAh Ni-MH rechargeable battery pack (BAT-01) and charging station (CHR-01).
