50-tonne Modular Spreader Beams are an interchangeable, lightweight, and versatile style of Lifting beam and a cost-effective alternative to a fixed-span lifting beam. This style of lightweight lifting beams has become very popular over the last few years due to their flexibility in instantly changing the length of the lifting beam quickly by adding an extra strut to create the desired length. Manufactured from tubular steel with flanged boltable sections to create an incredibly strong, yet lightweight system. The Modular End Struts with link plates are supplied to create top and bottom lifting eyes that suit standard lifting shackles (shackles not supplied).
T50 Modular Spreader Beam kit will be supplied with the following items. Complete with everything required, and once assembled can be used immediately.
Two Strut Ends c/w link plates. (500mm each (1000mm long per pair))
Middle Strut Sections (available in lengths of 500mm, 1000mm, 2000mm and 4000mm). enough sections will be supplied to make up span of the lifting beam required.
Fixing Bolts M20 x 65 GRADE 8.8 HT Bolts, Nuts, and Washers. (The recommended tightening Torque is 160Nm).
If shackles are required with the T50, 50,000Kgs Modular Spreader Beam - Please use 35 Ton Alloy Safety Bow Shackles for Top Lifting Point and 25 Ton Alloy Safety Bow Shackles for the lower lifting points. Ultimate lifting Solutions advise that customers consider using Green Pin G4163 Bow Shackle with Safety Bolt manufactured to EN13889.
The 50 tonne lightweight modular spreader beam can have a minimum lifting span of just 1m (1,000mm), by adding different-sized middle struts the span is interchangeable in 500mm increments up to a maximum length of 13m span. If a longer lifting span is required, a larger capacity modular lifting beam will be required. If unsure, please call Ultimate Lifting Solutions and our specialist lifting division will be able to assist with your lifting application. Please note - As this Lifting attachment is a lifting spreader beam, It must only be loaded via the two endpoints through the link plates. NEVER HANG LOADS FROM THE MIDDLE STRUTS.

A SPREADER BEAM MUST ONLY BE LOADED AT THE TWO END POINTS THROUGH THE END LINKS. NEVER HANG LOADS FROM THE STRUTS
STV (SLING TO VERTICAL) ANGLE MUST BE NO MORE THAN 45°.
THE ABOVE CHART MUST BE REFERRED TO IN ORDER TO ENSURE THAT THIS BEAM IS SUITABLE FOR THE PLANNED LIFT.
END LINKS MUST HANG DOWNWARDS, TOWARDS THE LOAD.
THE WLL (WORKING LOAD LIMIT) OF A SINGLE LINK PLATE IS 25 TONNES (50 TONNES COMBINED). DO NOT EXCEED THIS WEIGHT AT ONE END OF THE BEAM.
