Standard Ratchet Load Binders, fitted with chain hooks. Used to tension lorry chains or lashing chains on trailers and low loaders in order to secure heavy and bulky loads. Once under tension these load binders will not unscrew meaning your valuable load is secure for the full trip.
Manufactured from cast/ forged steel giving high strength and comes painted to help protect against the elements. The ratchet mechanism and long handle aids the operator to tighten the lashing chains with ease effortlessly in increments giving the confidence that the correct tension is applied an in turn making sure the load is secure. the chain hooks or grab hooks fitted are designed to hold between individual links of chain, so care should be taken when orders load binders to make sure the correct ones are selected to suit the chains.

useful information on Inspection and servicing and testing of Load binders
On receiving your unused chains - Ensure that:
The loadbinders corresponds exactly to the order;
The inspection certificate or certificate of conformity has been supplied and are correct
Before using your Lashing Chains:
Inspect loadbinders for any visible damage or signs of wear - In case of doubt or damage do not use the lashing chains and have them inspected by a competent person.
Periodic thorough examinations:
Loadbinders - to be examined by a competent person according to national regulations, at least every 12 months . But depending on use this period can be shorter; e.g. frequent and rough usage.
After unusual events, that could cause impairment to the loadbinders, it must be checked by a competent person (e.g. after exposure to uncontrolled heat, emergency braking etc).
