Economy Forklift Hook Attachment - Adjustable that will transform a forklift into a mobile crane. Can be quickly and easily fitted anywhere along the forklift times to suit your requirements and secured safely in place via two screw bars - Supplied with a tested swivel hook and shackle. These cost-effective adjustable forklift lifting hooks simply slides over the forklift tines, the position where required, and then tighten down the two "T" screws. Once tightened correctly the fork hook will be secure and will not slide along the tines.

Lifting is done via the supplied swivel hook that is attached safely and securely under the main body, this allows easy attachment of chain slings, flat slings, and endless lifting slings. Or if required a chain hoist can be easily fitted to the hook.

Why use a Fork hook and not just sling over the forks? - The main reason why the fork hook attachment should be used is to protect your lifting slings. The forks or tines on a forklift have sharp edges and if you use soft slings like a Duplex strap or endless round slings there is a chance these types of slings can be cut on the sharp edges - Using a fork hook and utilizing the hook will eliminate this. Another reason to use a lifting hook attachment is when you are using chain slings or wire rope slings, this creates a metal-on-metal contact with the fork tines and a strong possibility of the slings sliding out of place again, by using a fork hook, it eliminates this.

This last reason and probably the most simple reason is balance, but using a Forklift Hook Attachment between the tines of the forklift truck means you are lifting objects at the correct centre of balance which eliminates the tipping of loads.
