The FLC1073.3 Foldable Access Platform with locking side gate entry is a quality manufactured Work Access Platform that fits securely onto forklift forks to give the operator a safe area to work from when carrying out repair or maintenance jobs up high around the workplace, guttering or roof. The robust bottom tray gives a solid spot to stand on, and the high-sided walls also provide a large area to store tools and equipment without worrying about them falling off or out of the cage.

Manufactured with two heavy-duty fork pockets underneath the cage that fits most forklift forks, and the FLC1073 Access Cage is held securely and safely in place onto the forklift via two heel pins which will stop the platform from sliding off the forklift.

An added advantage of the FLC 1073.3 work access platform is the fact that when it is not needed, it can be folded down inside itself. All four sides will neatly fit inside the bottom tray offering a space-saving design. The design itself allows for fast erection when required.

MAINTENANCE of Access Platforms

The forklift access platforms should be inspected before every time it is used or no later than weekly. Check for general overall condition with particular attention paid to: 
All weld points, Wear and distortion of fork pockets and swinging arms, Any damaged parts, and the thumb screws and pivots – Any problems found must be rectified immediately.

Check for general surface rusting, especially in critical areas should be treated with proprietary inhibitors, primers and paint on a regular basis.
All pivots and thumbscrews must be kept lightly greased.

This product is certified for six (6) months from the date of manufacture after which it is the customer’s responsibility to have the product re-tested at an approved testing facility or inspected and logged in a register by a competent person as advised by The HSE.
