Our Low liner Jib crane is a low profile forklift jib which is great when height restrictions are a concern, it will also give you long reach capabilities for either picking up or placing down an object or product which is difficult to reach with the standard forks on a lift truck - Ideal for non palletised goods, handling machinery or presses or even motors, in fact anything that is in a hard to access position.

Jib is supplied with a quality lifting hook that swivels.

All Jib arms are 1800mm (1.8m) long  and all have 6 different lifting points evenly spread along the whole length of the unit.

For securing the Jib to the forklift, quality heel pins are supplied, eliminating any risk of the arm moving or slipping.

For load lifting safety, the forklift jib comes with a load capacity chart that details the safe lifting limits of the jib based on the capacity of the forklift truck.

MAINTENANCE of Jib Arms

The  Jib Arm should be inspected every time it is used but no later than weekly for general condition with particular attention paid to: 
All weld points, Wear and distortion of fork pockets and swinging arms, Any damaged parts, and the thumb screws and pivots – Any problems found must be rectified immediately.

Check for general surface rusting especially in critical areas should be treated with proprietary inhibitors, primers and paint on a regular basis.
All pivots and thumbscrews must be kept lightly greased.

This product is certified for six (6) months from the date of manufacture after which it is the customer’s responsibility to have the product re-tested at an approved testing facility or inspected and logged in a register by a competent person as advised by The HSE.
