Unikey Manhole Cover Lifting & Stopcock Interchangeable Key Set

Unikey is a Manhole Cover Lifting & Stopcock Interchangeable Key Set with a lifting capacity of 250Kgs and comprising interchangeable tips that can be easily and quickly swapped over, all supplied in a hard-wearing storage bag and convenient carry case. This Manhole Cover Key set is supplied with five different pairs of specialist lifting keys that suit most manhole covers and a Stopcock key is also supplied, all kept safe in the practical soft nylon case supplied free of charge.

What's included in the Unikey Universal Manhole Key Lifting Set - The Kit comes complete in a useful carry case which includes two handles and a large range of interchangeable tips, including 33mm T tips, 22mm T tips, 10mm Hook tips, M10 Screw tips, M12 Screw tips, and a Stopcock Key. Unikey handles and tips have a 250kg Safe Working Load certified by Lloyds British Testing (1000 kg straight pull destructive testing).

Also included in the kit is a Stopcock tip (not tested), this very useful Stopcock key is a tool commonly used to turn the supply of water or gas on or off from the garden, footpath, or road.

Unikey is manufactured from quality Zinc plated carbon steel.

To fit an interchangeable tip on the Metex Unikey Manhole Lifting Key Kit?

Hold the handle upside down on a solid surface then grip the knurled cylinder and push it downwards (towards the handle).

With the knurled cylinder pulled back, insert the chosen tip and rotate gently while pushing down to engage the male end of the tip into the handle recess. 

Once fully inserted release the cylinder and check the tip is locked in place. The knurled cylinder should now be sat against the circlip. 

To remove a tip 

Pull back the knurled cylinder towards the handle and pull the tip away from the handle at the same time. 

Performance 

Unikey handles and tips have a 250kg Safe Working Load certified by Lloyds British Testing (1000kg straight pull destructive test). Stopcock tip not tested. 

All Unikey parts should be kept clean, with grease applied to the handle mechanism periodically. 

To prevent dirt ingress a key may be left mounted to the handle.
