Our Geosynthetic Liner Lifting beam system comes complete with everything you need to lift liner rolls, can also be used for any type of pond lining and even carpet. In these lifting kits is the Beam itself, two leg top lifting chains, the dropper chains, and the spindle to slide your liner over. For everything you need, just add the liner roll.

Our Geosynthetic Liner Lifting beam system comes complete with everything you need to lift liner rolls, can also be used for any type of clay liners such as Bentotex, pond lining, and even carpet rolls, in fact, any long thin rolls of lining or reinforcement material can be fitted to our lifting beam as long as the central core is larger than 70mm. most commonly used on landfill sites, man-made ponds, embankments, reinforced banking and car parks/roadways, and erosion control.

In the kit is the Beam itself, top lifting chains, the dropper chains, and the spindle to slide your liner over.

Our most popular model is the ISB2 which has a capacity of 1,700Kgs and will suit the most common size clay liners and similar products that are no longer than 5.2m long, we also have the ISB3 which suits linins up to 6.2m long.

Maintenance

The spreader Beam should be inspected before it is used, check the overall general condition with particular attention paid to:

1. All weld points on the lifting beam.

2. Wear and distortion of shackles, chains & lifting rings.

3. Any damaged/worn components of chain fittings or spindles.

4. General condition of shackle, chain, hook, and safety latch.

5. Damage or failure must be reported and rectified immediately prior to the re-use of the attachment.

6. General surface rusting especially in critical areas should be treated with proprietary inhibitors, primers, and paint on a regular basis.

7. This product is certified for six (6) months from the date of manufacture after which it is the customer’s responsibility to have the product inspected and logged in a register by a competent person as advised by the HSE.

Health and Safety

1. The Manager of the department or section where the attachment is to be used must be responsible for ensuring the operators are fully conversant with the attachment, its operation, maintenance and safe use

2. Ensure both the truck and attachments can handle the intended load and its contents.

3. Ensure the shackle pins are adequately tightened before each use.

6. Do not shock load the attachment under any circumstances.

7. Always make sure only vertical lifts are made and not diagonal lifts when using the attachment.

9. The safe working load must not be exceeded at its lifting point.

The Operator should ensure that the above product is used for the purpose that it has been designed, tested and intended to do and no deviation from this occurs. If in doubt, consult your fork truck dealer or approved attachment

supplier.
