The HTG is fitted with a gearing system  and hand chain that aids the precise positioning of the trolley  anywhere along the beam - once in position, the trolley will not creep out of position like the push travel trolley

These units are easy to fit your beam or girder due to the single load bar with threaded ends - no need for packing washers, adjustments are made by rotating the load bar which ensures the centred positioning of the trolley on the beam, which in turn means the load will be suspended centrally, the trolley will not creep sideways when being pushed along the beam.

All geared trolleys are fitted with zinc-plated hand chains - the length of the chain fitted is always 0.5m less than the overall HOL of the trolley (i.e. - 2.5m hand chain fitted to hoist of 3m HOL) - Stainless Steel hand chain can be fitted if higher corrosion resistance is required.

The HTG has two sizes

Type "A" which suits most standard beams with a flange width up to 220mm 
&
Type "B" which suits larger beams starting from 125mm up to 310mm wide

The trolley enables the exact positioning or easy traversing of large loads with either manual or powered hoisting equipment.

Features

It has excellent rolling features due to machined steel wheels mounted on pre lubricated, encapsulated ball bearings.
Adjustable to fit a wide range of beam widths and profiles (e.g. INP, IPE, and IPB).
Adjustments are made by rotating the clevis load bar which also ensures the centred positioning of the hoist in the clevis – no creeping to the left or the right.
The trolley wheels are designed for a max. beam profile incline of 14 % (DIN 1025 – part 1).

The HTG has two sizes
Type "A" which suits most standard beams with a flange width up to 220mm 
&
Type "B" which suits larger beams starting from 160mm up to 310mm wide

INSPECTION, SERVICE & REPAIR

According to national and international accident prevention and safety regulations load lifting attachments must be inspected:

  • in accordance with the risk assessment of the operating company
  • prior to initial operation
  • before the unit is put into service again following a shut down
  • after substantial changes
  • however, at least once per year, by a competent person
