The StakJak Lifting Mats - 8 Bar pressure version are a quality UK-manufactured, high-pressure (8 bar) pneumatic air lifting bags with flattened top and bottom surfaces, designed primarily for heavy-duty lifting operations such as machinery, steelwork, bridges, and vehicle lifting procedures, can also be used in the vehicle recovery sector and a great space/weight saver when used as an air lifting jack within the sportscar industry. Wide range available with lifting capacities from 3.6 tonnes up to 24.6 tonnes.
Manufactured from an exceptionally tough Kevlar Cord with special internal construction that gives the flat-topped air lift bag a square flat zone on both the top and bottom of the Air Mat when inflated. It is this "flat lifting" zone that makes the StakJak a superior airbag lifting system over the standard Powermat which is a pillow-shaped lift bag, as the bearing point does not shrink in size when the air pressure is increased, therefore the flat-topped airbag lifter maintains its full lifting capacity. This means these inflatable bags can lift the quoted maximum lift capacity at the max lifting height at any point from min to max lift height, unlike conventional similar oval style lifting bags (Pillow shaped Lifting Bags) where the lift capacity diminishes down to zero as the lift height increases.
StakJak Flat Profile air bag jacks are a multi-purpose piece of kit, which can be used for Lifting, Lowering, Positioning, Spreading, Pushing, and even moving loads apart. Perfect for use as an airbag jack for cars and other vehicles, caravans, trams, trains, and mobile homes.
All of our lifting bags are tested before dispatch and comply with EN 13731:2007.

StakJak's Industrial Lifting Bags can be used up to three highs to increase the lifting height.
What is the difference between Flat Air Lifting Mats and traditional Air Lifting Bags?
The revolutionary StakJak flat profile Kevlar air lifting bags have several advantages over traditional rounded style lifting bags. The most significant is the ability to stack up to three mats together, this enables a greater lifting height without the risk of the bags slipping out of position or instability which is possible when stacking the rounded style lifting bags.
The flat industrial lifting bags are not subject to the decreasing lifting capacity as the height increases that the ovoid lifting bags have, complicated graph research and uncertain lifting height and capacities do not need to be considered when using the StakJak: their lifting capacities remain constant throughout the lift, even at full height.
The flat zone of the flat form lifting mat also ensures a constant level lifting footprint, which means a more stable lift process.
Stakjak lifting bags inflate rapidly offering an instant lift. The most convenient source of air supply for inflation is a BA cylinder or SCUBA bottle, alternatively, a compressor, factory airline supply, or a truck air brake supply can be used. Due to only an air supply required and no electric supply, this is why our lifting bags are a perfect solution for anyone working in remote locations, utility companies, water treatment plants, maintenance teams, and as mentioned before emergency organizations such as the fire brigade, fire department and mountain rescue or disaster search and rescue teams around the world.
Where to use Air Lifting Mats?
Used widely within the breakdown and vehicle recovery industry to raise cars, vans, and trucks that have become stuck or overturned rescue teams use these lifting mats when working in remote locations that need a safe and precise lifting aid when traditional heavy jacking equipment is not suitable. In fact, these simple-to-use lightweight air lifting bags can be used in any situation that requires a quick, accurate lifting tool that is compact and light to carry and store away.
These pneumatic lifting aids can be used for raising and positioning mobile homes, caravans, and similar buildings. Raising a car off the ground to change a wheel, raising a car, or an off-road vehicle that has become stuck or broken down. Can be used within larger transportation industries such as vans, lorries, and HGVs even trains and aircraft can utilize these bags. Quarries use these airbags to split large boulders and re-positioning piping or trench equipment. Mining industries, armed forces and firefighters, and many construction/maintenance applications. Can even be used submerged for various lifting processes.
A bonus feature of these pneumatic lifting mats is that they do not mark what they lift as they are manufactured from high-quality rubber.

MFC International are a specialist manufacturer of inflatable Lifting bags, and rescue, recovery, survival and sewer maintenance equipment based in the UK. Their equipment is used by construction/maintenance companies, breakdown/ vehicle teams, fire brigades, mountain and lowland rescue, utilities, and the military and humanitarian support organisations internationally and we have earned an unrivalled reputation for our product quality, durability and performance.
Founded in 1959, the company (then called MFC Survival) started by manufacturing life jackets and life rafts for the Royal Navy and South Wales commercial shipping ports. Over time the focus shifted towards the design and manufacture of specialist inflatable products for the defence and rescue industries.
MFC quickly became a respected name in the field of technical inflatable products and boasts an impressive history of innovation.
MFC was the original inventor of airlift bags, the first to manufacture aircraft recovery bags and one of the first to introduce inflatable shelters.
There has been continuous investment in new tools and machinery in the UK-based factory, including new presses to mould our own high-pressure lifting mats and an autoclave for manufacturing our new range of products for sewer maintenance. This means the whole process from design to manufacture is carried out under one roof.
