The Tiger BHW Braked Hand Winch with corrosion protection is a high quality, compact & lightweight multi-purpose hand operated winch used for a wide variety of lifting and hoisting applications. fitted with an automatic brake that ensures the load remains suspended when the crank is released and avoids unchecked descent of the load.
This model range is protected using our unique formulation giving unprecedented long term reliability and superior corrosion resistance and protection in the most severe conditions. The coating provides excellent friction protection and has been proven to be effective through at least 1000 hours of the ASTM B 117 Salt Spray Test. The coating gives the properties of stainless steel without the cost implications.
Can be used for both Lifting and Pulling Applications - Can be fitted with a either a Winch cable that can be used for both Lifting & Pulling Applications or a polyester Winch Strap that can only be used for Pulling Applications.
Winch is designed not to freewheel, making the hand winch extremely safe to operate.
Winch out casing finished in a high quality powder coat paint, that not only makes these units look very professional, it also offers excellent corrosion protection. All mechanical components such as gears and brakes fully covered to prevent dust, dirt and rain contamination.
Noiseless 1200lb model: BHW1200N is equipped with a patented quiet brake design that is virtually silent and fully automatic. Best suited to those locations where quiet is required, such as schools, hospitals and theatres.
