Probst Concrete Gully Hook GH comes complete with a chain assembly for securing around the road gully quickly and safely. The Gully Hook has been designed to make lifting, handling, and installing concrete road gullies easier, safer, and quicker. This quality manufactured lifting aid has been designed to fit snugly inside the road gully spout without the need to remove the "rodding eye cover" or damage the gasket. The addition of the safety chain means that a full loop around the spout can be made. Also supplied with two optional lifting points, one for DN375mm, and one for DN450mm sizes.
The Gully Hook has been designed to lift concrete gullies or pots, from the laid down position to an upright position till the pot is hanging plumb. Using the Gully hook will give an easier, quicker, and more accurate installation process, with the gully hanging plumb in the ideal position to ensure correct alignment the first time and with no damage to the gasket.
Why was the Gully Hook Designed - The Gully Hook was developed in conjunction with a leading UK manufacturer of precast concrete elements to make road gully handling and installation Safer, Quicker, and Easier. Due to Concrete Gullies being "top-heavy" in design, storage on construction sites means they are usually stored on their back or sides, making them awkward to lift, the Probst GH Gully Hook was designed to lift from the laid down position to the upright position.
