Probst RVD Concrete Pipe Lifter. Universal excavator attachment enables large steel reinforced concrete pipes to be unloaded, transported, and installed on-site saving the groundwork team precious installation time of up to 50%. Utilizing an excavator with the Probst Concrete Pipe Lifter attached will convert the excavator into a fast, safe concrete pipe-laying machine offering a better solution to the old traditional way of using soft slings or chains that could slip or damage the concrete pipes.
An added advantage of this improved model from Probst, offers a pipe lifter with a mechanical clamping mechanism that grips the tubes, meaning the pipes cannot slip from the Probst Pipe Lifter thus accurate placement can be easily achieved. the Driver of the Excavator can lift, transport and even position the spigot end of the concrete pipe onto the bell end of the concrete pipe already in the trench. the pipes are then connected together with the correct relevant force.
The RVD-4.5ECO Probst Concrete Lifter has been recently revised, this new compact design has an improved working load limit of 4,500Kgs (4,000Kgs Previously) making it easier to position the concrete pipes within the trench lining mainly thanks to the optimized mandrel with its more compact design. The mandrel itself is fitted with a plastic plate on the underside to help gently push the pipes into the perfect position after installation. also fitted with top rubber grippers to aid the gripping force and to protect the concrete pipe.
PLEASE NOTE - A minimum concrete pipe weight of 600kgs is required as a mandatory requirement for proper operation of the clamp.

If required Probst offers their own Universal Quick Hitch Coupling supplied with both 65mm and 80mm pin holes for quick and easy attachment to most excavators.

Simple to use: autonomous, simple pick-up of the pipe lifter through the digger driver, requires no mounting procedure, and short training time for employees.
