Any additional height of lift is available; the standard is 3m, and additional heights are sold in complete metres only. Standard hoists at 3m are supplied with a 2m pendant cable. As the lifting height increases, the pendant cable length will be adjusted pro rata. The hoist body can be fitted with a raincoat, with three sizes available to suit all hoist sizes. Powered trolley raincoats are also available, but only up to a 2-tonne capacity. Yale CPV / F Hoist Features Include:  

- Increased operating safety through a 42V control voltage (low voltage control) and a main contactor.

- An integrated limit switch for the highest and lowest hook positions, considerably extending the service life of the slip clutch, motor and gearbox.

- Overload protection (slip clutch) in all CPV hoists, which allows for higher safety requirements.

- An electromagnetic spring pressure brake that holds the load safely even in the event of a power failure.

- Different suspension types are available, such as top hook, lug, or integrated trolley. A retrofit to another type of suspension is possible.

- Custom chain lengths (lifting heights) are available upon customer request.

- An oil bath gearbox (or semi-fluid grease with CPV/F 2-8 and 5-4, as well as CPV 2-4 and 5-2) featuring helical gearing for particularly smooth operation and enhanced lifespan.

- All-steel chain guide.

- The chain guide of the smallest hoists (CPV/F 2-8 and 5-4, as well as CPV 2-4 and 5-2) consists of a thermoplastic (POM) chain guide that is integral to the housing.

- The CPV series is protected up to IP 55 against dust ingress and water jets.

- A 2-year warranty (excluding worn parts) and a lifetime lubricated gearbox.

- Duty cycle of 50% ED for single speed.

- Standard operating voltage: 400V, 3Ph, 50Hz.

- Available with either Top Hook suspension or Lug for reduced headroom. Lug fitting is designed for easy integration into trolley applications (customer to specify at the time of ordering).
