Suspension Types for Electric Chain Hoists. your new Stahl Electric Chain Hoist can be supplied with various different suspension options. the standard electric chain hoist is usually supplied with hook suspension. A Lug suspension version is also available, both the hook and lug suspension is common when attaching to a suspension point on a jib crane or onto a beam that already has a moving trolley. If you have not got a suitable trolley already, then the push travel trolley option is the correct option if you require manual movement along a crane beam or an I-beam style Jib Crane. On larger capacity electric chain hoists a powered trolley is the most practical option, using a powered travel trolley eliminates all the manual movement of the load by the operator, helping with precise placement of the object being positioned. ST is a very versatile hoist for trolley variants - Both manual trolley and electric trolley are available.
Different construction types and trolley variants for the ST chain hoist open up the most varied applications in crane and systems manufacturing. Individually tailored to your specific requirements as a stationary hoist or for use with a trolley. The trolleys are equipped as standard with one travel speed, as an option the motors can be supplied with two travel speeds. But in this matter too we are open to your requirements. The Stahl ST Electric chain hoists are known worldwide for their flexible and versatile use. Compact dimensions and extremely short approach dimensions help to make optimum use of the production shop.
Suspension for stationary positioned hoists.
The standard stationary Stahl ST chain hoist has hook suspension, for quick and easy attachment to a suitable trolley or suspension point. However, you can also choose eye suspension or even rigid suspension for your electric hoist.
The eye suspension is used when the chain hoist is fixed onto a suitable suspension point, meaning the hoist is only rarely moved to a different location, while the low headroom with the eye permits long hook paths even in low-ceilinged rooms.
If the ST chain hoist is to be permanently mounted, for example in system manufacture, we recommend rigid suspension. Here too the extremely short headroom is of advantage. In addition, the rigid mounting prevents the chain hoist from swinging on the trolley.
Foot mounting for the stationary version
In order to utilize space optimally in low-ceilinged rooms the ST chain hoist can be bolted from below onto a foot mounting.
